Research has shown how beneficial brain break are for all ages - and classroom teachers are always looking for something fun and educational to break up the monotony of sitting at desks or tables all day.  I have the perfect solution for PK-2 teachers:  Magic Moves from Educational Insights!  They sent me over a product to try out for myself and I know early elementary students would love to have this in their class! {Maybe even a perfect gift for a classroom teacher with the upcoming holidays!}

It is shaped like a fun magic wand, and it has 26 different twinkling light shows and 90 (yes, 90!) different commands!  The commands are super fun AND learning related!  "Stomp like a dinosaur" and "Float like a butterfly" are just a couple.  The commands are great for motor skills, creative expression, and increasing vocabulary.  Acting out the words is fabulous for your kinesthetic learners!

Take a listen below to just three of the commands to get your students out of their seats for less than 30 seconds each and get that blood pumping to increase brain power!

Another fun extra with Magic Moves is that is also has some surprise commands, such as "freeze," "march," and "let's dance."  With children listening carefully for those commands, there should be less talking and more concentrating on the movements and fun!  All great skills to work on throughout the day at several quick intervals!

Educational Insights rocks and they are also giving away a Magic Moves to one super lucky reader here at The OCB!  Yay!  Check out the entry form below and good to all who enter from Educational Insights and The Organized Classroom Blog!
