I HEART Fall! It is my very favorite season of the year! To me, fall means cooler weather, sweaters, football, pumpkins, and beautiful leaves turning red, orange, and yellow! Some of you might know that I lived and taught in southwest Florida for 3 years. While I loved my school and my tight-knit team (and miss those times terribly some days), I also had serious blues every fall when I was there because there are no true seasons there. Only the seasons I like to call hot, hott, and hotter. lol! In all honesty, the fall season was one of the reasons I made the move back to Ohio. And I have to say, I am in all my glory right now!
The weather here has been perfect for Friday night football games at the local high school! The caramel apples and fresh apple cider are what autumn dreams are made of! And snuggling by a fire (without turning the whole house heat on yet) is my idea of an exciting evening out. :)
So, when Heather from Teaching My 3 mentioned that the OFFICIAL start to fall was today and wanted to know who would like to jump in on a fall blog hop, I was all in before she could finish her sentence!
In honor of all the fall fun, I created a Fall Classroom Organization Calendar freebie! This pack includes September, October, and November calendars, along with weekly tasks (or challenges) you can complete throughout the week. The weekly task is broken into small daily chunks so that by the end of the week, you are more organized than you were at the beginning. :) Sometimes just having a visual reminder to do something keeps you ahead of the game. Even better, it also includes a monthly YAY YOU task that is all about celebrating you for all you do for everyone else! {Just make sure to click on the download link under the image when you get to the download page - no registration required!}
I hope you have fun with the ideas - feel free to change them, ignore them, or take them a step further if you so choose. If you like the calendars and want more in the future, please drop me a line and let me know. If I get enough interest, it might be a regular event.
Please make sure to stop by all the other blogs listed below, leave a comment if you really like the post, and above all else: if you are in a cool weather environment, take some time to rake up those leaves when they fall and jump on in!
Enjoy and happy fall blog hopping!
